Hello,
I have been up with my family in Nottingham this weekend, so it's been nice to have a run with a change of scenery. Unfortunately, I couldn't complete the 3rd day of training (4 mile run) as I was up all night with food poisoning (I'm never eating service station food again)!
To make up for the lost day I went on a 7 mile run today (training plan suggested 6 miles) with my Brother from my Mums house to my Nanas. Turns out it is actually only 4 miles from my Mums to my Nanas so we had to run in a few loops to get it up to 7.
My GPS actually broke towards the end of the run so I only have the statistics up to 7k which is quite disappointing as 7 miles (just over 11k) is the furthest I have ever ran. As you can see from the above we had a quick pace and battled a few hills.
It took us 1hr 4m before we arrived at my Nanas (after going the least direct route!) and she wasn't afraid to tell us that we needed a shower.
I've really enjoyed the first week of training through Penny Brohns half marathon training pack. Hoping the weather stays nice as I continue.
