Training Day 5

 Hello,

I went for a beautiful run through Bristol this evening, I ran up towards Leigh woods and then around the harbour completing 6 miles.

Due to a few commitments, I will only be able to run once throughout this working week; tonight I tried to incorporate the Fartlek with the recommended 4/5 mile jog which turned in to 10K (6 miles) with kinda varying speeds.


In the table below, you can see I again struggled with varying the speeds! I'm not too good at fast bursts I get quite bad stitch, I will keep trying it out though.


My average pace is quite quick, Ideally I will keep it at below 6 minutes for the whole of the half marathon in order to finish in under 2 hours. 


I really wasn't in the mood for going for a run this evening, I psyched myself up by saying "I'll just do 5K" needless to say, once I started running I didn't want to stop - and now I feel much better!

It's always a good idea to get those trainers on and just GO!
