Hello,
On Sunday I took the least direct route from my Mums house to my Nanas and ran 13K (8miles), I made the rookie mistake of running before breakfast - resulting in quite a slow pace.
It took me over an hour to run 10K because my average pace was over 6:00, I hope to run the half marathon faster than this in order to complete it in under 2 hours. This weekend I will make sure I have eaten and drank plenty of water before I head out on another long run in the hope of increasing my pace.
8 miles is the furthest I have ever ran and my legs could feel it on Monday! I haven't ran since as my calf's are still quite achy and I don't want to push them!
